RTPS Bihar is accepting online applications for Residential, Caste, Income, Character, NCL and EWS certificates through serviceonline.bihar.gov.in.
Residents of Bihar can now apply for essential certificates like Nivas, Jati and Aay Praman Patra entirely online, without visiting government offices. Applications, status tracking and certificate downloads are all available on the RTPS portal. There is no application fee for any of these certificate services.

How to Apply
- Visit the official website serviceonline.bihar.gov.in.
- If the applicant is a new user, create a Login ID and Password by selecting "Register Yourself."
- From the left menu, click on the relevant department's linked service and log in.
- Click on "Apply for Service" from the left menu.
- Fill out the application form, upload your photo via Webcam or File Browser, make corrections, and click Save Draft.
- Verify via Aadhaar OTP or upload one of the 12 identification documents approved by the Election Commission of India.
- If required, attach the necessary annexures by clicking Attach.
- Read the application form and annexure list carefully and make corrections.
- Submit the application and download/print the acknowledgment.
- After issue, the certificate will be available in the applicant's inbox for download/print.
