- Mining B.E./B.Tech in Mining Engineering; Senior Manager E4 also requires First Class Mine Manager Certificate (Unrestricted).
- Geology Master Degree (M.Sc.) in Geology or Applied Geology.
- Environment Management BE/B.Tech in Environmental Engineering/Technology OR Engineering Degree with PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Environmental Science.
- Safety & Fire Services BE/B.Tech with PG Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering Management OR B.Tech in Safety Engineering/Fire Engineering.
- Concentrator (Mineral Processing) B.E./B.Tech in Mineral Engineering or Mineral & Metallurgical Engineering.
- Electrical B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Instrumentation Graduate Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
- Mechanical B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Mining Machinery Engineering.
